ENFP Careers

Updated on August 23, 2014

The ENFP Career Challenge "What career do I choose?"

ENFPs are one of the sixteen personality types from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). They are usually warm, friendly and enthusiastic. We're also known as the Inspirers or Champions and as an ENFP myself, I'm more than a little biased!

ENFPs are often very versatile and this means that we can find career satisfaction working in many different areas. Although this is good news, it does sometimes make it difficult for us to choose a career path, in fact get a couple of us together and this is bound to come up as a topic for conversation.

So we've gatherered here a collection of ENFP careers resources to help you find the right career path for you.

We've summarized in this lense all of the Squidoo pages that we have and if you're particularly interested in one you can click on the summary to go to that lens and read more that topic in detail. And if you're interested in ENFP careers information in general you can find info more at ENFPCareersGuide.com.

A great career read for you

I love this book! It was the first careers advice book I ever read and I still remember the first time I saw it in a bookstore in downtown Mountain View, CA.

I was stressed, overworked and generally hacked off with my job - sound familiar? I'd just had a garlic cheese pizza with a friend and we were browsing afterwards in a late night bookstore. Flicking through it to the ENFP section I couldn't believe that it had such an accurate description of exactly what I loved to do, as well as details of lots jobs and career paths that were well suited to people with ENFP personalities.

But it's not just ENFPs who can benefit from reading this, the book has an in depth section on suitable careers for all 16 Myers-Briggs personality types so it's good for just about anyone. And the first 100 pages are filled with helpful and detailed info on how personality develops and why it matters.

I first read it about 10 years ago and it's been updated several times since to keep it up-to-date. A really good one to keep on your shelf.
